LOUISVILLE, Colo., December 17, 2020 – Inovonics, an industry leader in high-performance wireless sensor networks, announces the retirement of Floyd Nishi, Technical Program Manager and former Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Regulatory Compliance effective December 31, 2020.
Mark Jarman, President of Inovonics, had the following to say about Floyd: “I’ve never known a better process and materials science person. Floyd and I have been through obscure challenges together from tin whiskers to silver dendrites. If I was to ever set off for another world, I wouldn’t leave port unless Floyd Nishi agreed to be on my ship.”
Following his 22 year tenure at Inovonics, Floyd plans to enjoy retirement with his six grandchildren, continue his lifelong volunteer work in church ministry, travel the United States in his class B van, travel internationally when able, continue to learn, stay fit, and pay back his wife Suzanne for all of the late dinners that came as a result of work.
In preparation for Floyd’s retirement, Mickey Staiano, Manufacturing Engineer Manager at Inovonics, will be taking on successor responsibilities. Staiano’s depth of experience and skill will bring continued success to the Inovonics engineering team. Although Floyd will be greatly missed, the Inovonics team wishes him the best in his coming retirement.
If you have any questions regarding this transition, please contact Mickey Staiano, Manufacturing Engineer Manager at Inovonics, at mstaiano@inovonics.com or 303-209-7275.
