LOUISVILLE, Colo., September 25, 2019 – Inovonics, an industry leader in high-performance wireless sensor networks, announces the retirement of Buzz Taylor, Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design Manager, of 21 years – effective September 30, 2019.

Buzz Taylor’s innovative designs have greatly impacted Inovonics products over the years. To name just a few of his contributions, he was responsible for the original design of the first senior care pendant series (EN1223D, EN1223S, EN1223S-60), the third generation 3M wireless headset, the Black and Decker mobile security system, the development of the two-way security pager, and the next generation senior living pendant series (EN1221S-20N, EN1221S-60W). His hard work and creativity at Inovonics is greatly appreciated.

Lalit Pandit, Director of Engineering at Inovonics, had the following to say: “In addition to driving mechanical designs of numerous Inovonics products, Buzz has also led the industrial design studies for charting the future look and feel of Inovonics products. His engineering knowledge, dedication and attention to detail will be greatly missed.”

Following his retirement, Buzz plans to discover new bike trails, travel abroad, sail in the Chesapeake Bay, and to overall spend quality family time. He also plans to explore painting, sculpture, metal work and woodwork.



In preparation for Buzz’s retirement the engineering team has hired and developed talent for a seamless transition taking over Buzz’s responsibilities effective September 30, 2019.
